Sensing a Cybertronian prescence, Optimus desperately ordered the entity to help the Autobots in their time of need.
After using a turret to help fight the Decepticons, Optimus found himself herded to a mysterious bright light by the shifting interior. After pulling a switch or two, Autobot leader Optimus Prime observed the interior of Metroplex constantly shifting and transforming to accomadate him. Metroplex had been lying dormant in what would become Autobot City for thousands of years, and inadvertedly became a part of the battlefield when Megatron attacked the Ark. His size requires a vast amount of Energon, which limits the amount of time Metroplex can stay in robot mode. One of the ancient titans of Cybertron, Metroplex is awakened by Optimus Prime to defend Cybertron as an Autobot. Hidden beneath the streets and amongst the buildings of Iacon lies Metroplex. Metroplex is a pretty cool character and I believe he is 4,527 years old since i can’t find a single place that has his ageīiograpahy Voice actor: Fred Tatasciore (English)
In other words, don't get on his bad side.
Metroplex is a gigantic Autobot whose alt-mode is a city.
